During the Day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter recounted after they had all spoken in tongues that what Prophet Joel predicted years and years ago is what took place on the Day of Pentecost” He recalls:”and it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God…I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke” (Acts 2:19)” In other words, God is saying that in the Last Days, signs and wonders shall be worked amongst us”
The phrase”Last Days” as used in this verse of Scripture implies the times of the gospel” You and I are living in that dispensation” So God is saying that in the dispensation that you and I live, He will show signs and wonders in our midst” I don’t know about you, but I am hungry and thirsty for God to work signs and wonders in my life” You see, God doesn’t lie, neither does He back away from His Word” Whatever God promises, He does it” If He promised to show you signs and wonders, please rest assured that He will do it” If He promised to heal you, to deliver you out of captivity, and to set you free from the enemy’s torment, please be convinced that He sure will do it”
Some people might have received their miracles and breakthroughs since the start of the Signs and Wonders Conference, and others probably haven’t seen manifestation yet” But I want to challenge you not to throw in the towel” Keep developing hunger and thirst for God” Just think about this: how can you not hunger and thirst for God, and yet hope to receive from Him” If you want a miracle from God, you must go after it as though your whole life depends on it; because it does”
The reason why many Christians keep going to Church and doing what is religious to do, but do not experience manifestation is because they are not hungry and thirsty for the miracle they so desire from the Lord” If you are hungry and thirsty for something you will act desperately to lay hold of it” It’s like the story of the woman with the issue of blood” This woman had been hemorrhaging for twelve years and had spent all she had on physicians, yet her health was failing and failing” Because this woman was hungry and thirsty for healing, she did what was crazy, ridiculous and unacceptable to do, so she could receive her breakthrough”
In Jewish culture, women who are having an issue of blood are considered unclean and as such were forbidden to go near holy men and sacred objects” Leviticus 15:25 confirms this point:”if a woman has an issue of her blood…all the days of the issue…she is unclean”Now since the Jewish culture deemed her unclean, she was not allowed to touch a holy man like Jesus” But because she was hungry and thirsty for her miracle, she violated the traditions of men so she could lay hold of her miracle” She touched a clean Jesus with her unclean self, and guess what? She was healed”
How hungry and thirsty are you for what you want? Jesus mentioned that”blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6)” In other words, anyone who will hunger and thirst after what they want, God will satisfy them with what they hunger and thirst for”
