How Solid Is Your Faith?

One of my favorite verses in the Holy Scriptures is the one in Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6, where Paul writes:”without faith it impossible to please Him
“This means that anyone who wants to please God or receive anything from the Lord ought to have faith” The word faith simply means having unshakable believe in God, and from the Scripture verse we just read, Paul tells us that without an unshakable believe in God or without a rock-solid faith, it will be impossible to please God” The only force to deter you from experiencing the manifestation of the promises of God is the lack of faith”

We’ve been hearing for some time now that God wants to establish us and to mark our lives with supernatural occurrences” That is a promise God has made to us for 2005″ But for God to bring this promise into manifestation, you will have to have faith in His Word and to completely believe that whatever He promised, He is able to do” As for the promises of God, they are always available for your benefit if only you will have faith” In second Corinthians 1:20, Paul writes that”the promises of God are yes and Amen””That is, the promises God has made will by all means come to pass” However, they only come to pass in the lives of those who have faith”

there is anything you have to seriously work at developing, it is your faith” Your faith must be so rock-solid that whatever men see as impossible, you see as possible” This reminds me of Abraham who at the age of ninety-nine years when men thought he was through and had no chance of having a baby still believed in the God who specializes in possibilities” God promised Abraham a child after he complained to God that he’s been childless” Unfortunately, this promise was made to Abraham at a time when his body was dead” In spite of the situation that looked so gloomy and impossible, Abraham still believed and had a rock-solid faith in the promise of God”

Let’s examine Paul’s comment on Abraham’s rock-solid faith;”without weakening in faith…he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith…being fully persuaded that God has power to do what He has promised” (Romans 4:19-21, NIV)” I hope you get the picture being painted by Paul in these verses? The apostle Paul is indicating here that although it looked impossible for Abraham to have a child considering his age, he still had a rock-solid faith in the promise of God, and did not in the least doubt God’s commitment to His promise”

As you go through this year of establishment and of the supernatural, I encourage you to solidify your faith in the Lord because there would be times when the enemy will confront you with challenges that will inevitably make a demand on your faith” But strengthen your faith in the Lord and take God at His Word because whatever He’s promised will surely be fulfilled in your life as long as you satisfy the condition of maintaining a rock-solid faith in Him”

God has greatness planned for you in the days ahead, and I sense that the worse days of your life are over because I believe with all my heart that He’s scheduled the best days of your life for you” Keep your faith alive! ©
